Haynes, Thompson and Tooch Concert

This weekend's concert features local favorites Holland, Haynes, Thompson and Tooch. These folks put on a great show, so if you can make it, it should be a fun evening.

And HOT OF THE PRESSES!

Leslie Ritter and Scott Petito will be doing a benefit concert here at the library on Dec. 9. It's always a treat to have them here. So please mark your calendars. Since it will be a library benefit--AND since it's the holiday season--we not going to ask for a specific contribution from attendees. It'll be a pay-what-you-can affair. We hope you can make it.

Concerts for the New Year

We will be going back to our regular concert series in January. First up for the new year will be singer-songwriter Tom Kimmel (on Jan 6 at 8:00 PM), whose songs have been covered by artists as diverse as Linda Ronstadt, Roger McGuinn & Chris Hillman, Maura O'Connell, Joe Cocker, Shawn Colvin, Waylon Jennings, Randy Travis and the Spinners.
Check out Tom's website for samples of his music and more info:
http://www.tomkimmel.com/index.html.

February will bring us another nationally acclaimed artist, Kate Campbell. Mae Robertson, whose CD with Eric Garrison, we have in our collection, will be performing in March.

April will bring Brooks Williams, Easter and a few April Showers.

In May, we will be bringing back a regional favorite, Sloan Wainwright. If you missed Sloan the last time she played here (in '05), you won't want to miss her this time. She's a wonderful artist and a lovely human being.

Art at the Library

Check out our current art exhibit, featuring the works of Tatiana Rhinevault, our friend and neighbor, and a great supporter of the library. She's a great talent, and this is one show that is not to be missed. Just one of the many great things you can check out at the library.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope to see you soon (maybe even tomorrow night) at the library. If I don't see you, let me take the occasion to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.
