HOW TO GET A LIBRARY CARD

If you are a Hyde Park resident, there are just a few easy steps to getting a library card.Your card will be issued from the Hyde Park Free Library. This library card may be used at any of the 71 librariesin the five county Mid Hudson Library System. Simply ask for a library card at the Main Desk. The whole process takes just a few minutes.


1.   You will need to prove a residency by showing (any of the following)
            driver license, or other state ID,
            check with address,
            tax bill, utility bill or other business mailing to your address
              (an accompanying picture ID is required).

2.    You may borrow two items on your first visit.

3.    Upon you returning these items, you may borrow a greater number of items per visit
            (the number permitted may vary depending on overall availability in subject area).
